MEET YOUR HOST FAMILY … THE KEVIN and LOU HUNT FAMILY

KEVIN AND LOU: Kevin has years of experience in event planning, staging and marketing and catering. He is the organizer and kitchen manager. He is a cook, an event planner, wedding planner and consultant, bookkeeper, outdoor cooking specialist – and even a florist. He is master-minding the future “GATHERING PLACE for for MESA”.

Lou is the busy mother of 9 (she says, “Nine is fine …”), and grandmother (of 8). She is the cake creator and decorator. She is the creator of heavenly cinnamon rolls and other delectable baked goods, an able seamstress, wedding planner (after 3 daughters all got married within 60 days of each other) and the one with the great creativity, sense of color and decorating expertise. She is also “the life of the party”

JACKIE & MICHAEL: Jackie is a creative baker, cook, wedding planner, and creator of yummy breads, salads, desserts, various refreshments, and more. She also sews for the host family and makes custom theme tablecloths and other décor for gatherings. Michael is the best for physical arrangements and general event staging and facilities. He is the “work horse” – and also a computer geru.

JENAE & PAUL help from a distance (San Antonio, TX) with moral support and the preparation of theme party packages, and the sewing of themed tablecloths, aprons and more. Jenae keeps us motivated and enthusiastic. [link to theme parties]

KAYLEA is the professional photographer for all of your individual, family and group photos. She’s also a wedding and event planner.

K.C. & CELESTE are definitely a team. Though they also live too far away (St. George, UT), together they are the gurus of our website. They keep our computers operating efficiently so that we can provide our event planning and catering services for you.

RUSTY & FABRIZA: Rusty is the designer and creator of gazebos and other rental structures – for your every occasion – both inside and out. He’s the master craftsman for the future “Gathering Place for Mesa”. Russ is also the producer of video productions of all kinds. Fabriza is a florist and a very friendly and creative wedding and event planner.

KEITH is our resident chef. His creative and beautiful food creations will tantalize and satisfy your food needs and taste buds. He is also an engineer and can fabricate anything we need.

MARINDA is our moral support with her smile and words of encouragement. We appreciate her smile and her practical advice and suggestions.

LANA is our resident authority on anything and everything music. She can develop a play list with the perfect songs for any occasion. She knows all of the songs and the artists. And if she can't handle it, we have another resident music expert who can. Lana is a beautiful hostess who can make your guests feel at home and pleased to be at your event. Lana is also a capable and friendly wedding planner.

LARISSA is a great organizer and perfectionist and as such, she checks for details (dotting every “I” and crossing every “T”) and makes sure that everything is in perfect order and looking good. She is also a very capable kitchen helper who keeps each pot full on every table and sees that all tables are quickly bussed in preparation for the next guest.

ALURA is Mom and Grandma to all. She is always willing to help and assist in any way that we need her. She is also our private tailor for our formal clothing rentals and sales.

RAY & RAYJU are our "minutemen". They come to help in any way that they can. They help with room preparation, bussing tables, clean-up and facility take-down.

And if we need more help, we have others we can call on!
